I seriously wish I could give this company 10 stars. Shawn - the owner, and his team did a phenomenal job on our driveway. He was able to come give me a bid the same day I called him. His pricing was very reasonable, fair and competitive and we booked his team for the job. They were able to come only a couple of days later and they did a fantastic job. They did such a good job that 2 of my neighbors saw my driveway and hired him and his team on the spot to do their driveways the same day! Shawn was very communicative and highly responsive to my texts and calls, which I really appreciate having dealt with a lot of service providers and contractors over the years who have not been good communicators. He and his team were all very friendly and professional. I truly cannot recommend Shawn and Bay Area Grading and Paving enough.

Shawn Peterson, the owner of Bay Area Grading & Paving, was great to work with and his crew did an excellent job on 3 different sections of Non-County Maintained roads in Mill Valley. He took on the challenge of narrow, hilly roads and made 30+ homeowners happy with nearly 5000 sq ft of newly paved asphalt. He even did some extra spots beyond our scope just to make his finished job look professional. We will have him come back next year for a follow up seal coat to help extend the life of the roadway.

Bay Area Paving did a great job replacing our close to 100 year old driveway in Napa Valley which is very long, and steep. The crew did top quality work, were fast and efficient, and cleaned up carefully once the job was done. They were sensitive to the areas near our house and garden, and very respectful of the old rock walls that are meaningful to us. The long and critically important drainage swales and runoff trenches that they also installed will handle the winter run off we get each year. We would recommend Bay Area Paving to friends and family and will be using them again when it comes time to apply a seal coating. The pricing was very fair and we know they will stand behind their good work. I think we are good for another 50 years!!

Our Driveway parking area is well over 1K sq. ft. Shawn did a great job repaving our existing 30yr old driveway parking area, with fresh hot mix asphalt and sealer, filling all pot holes & cracks. His workers are fast, courteous, and careful. The fresh asphalt averaged 3" to 5" thick, so this wasn't a skim-coating job. Our driveway now looks brand new.

Then our group of 8 properties paved our shared access road of about a mile. He gave us a tremendous price, did the work well and on time and then sealed it about a month later, again at an excellent price. Can't recommend him enough and would invite anyone considering him to inspect his work at our place on Sonoma Mountain."

Bay Area Paving did a great job replacing our driveway at 26 Jacks Lane in Napa which is long and at a steep grade. The crew did top quality work, were fast and efficient, and cleaned up fabulously once the job was done. Not only is the new driveway awesome but so too are the drains and runoff trenches that they also installed. I would happily recommend Bay Area Paving to friends and family and will be using them again when it comes time to apply a seal coating.

Our neighborhood of 10 property owners share a 620 foot private road that was falling apart. Bay Area came in with a full crew, all sorts of equipment and completely removed the old asphalt, put down compacted base rock and then a generous layer of new asphalt. The crew was on time for three days, did beautiful work and left the area clean and ready to drive on. We would give them 10 stars. The bid was very affordable and we are all thankful for the work completed.

I talked to several local contractors before contracting with Shawn. He had a very professional approach, giving me a price per square foot. He answered my questions. He had several positive written recommendations. Ultimately, I had him pave my driveway, about 3,000 sq ft. My neighbors and I got together later and had him pave our road, about 7,500 sq ft. We are very satisfied with the results. The crew went out of their way to please us. Paving our road made it very quiet and reduced the dust. Thank you Shawn. I would recommend him to my friends.

Shawn Peterson & his crew were outstanding on the recent removal & replacement of the asphalt in our mobile home community. They showed up at 8 am every day & did not leave until 6 pm each day. Always willing to work around the many residents in our community. Their customer service is exemplary! Shawn is great. High-quality work and jobs done very fast. I've used him on a dozen or so paving jobs over the last couple of decades and have never had a problem. His paving looks good, and holds up for many years. His prices are a lot lower than the competition, but his work is just as good or better.

Shawn Peterson of Bay Area Paving is great to work with. His team did a fabulous job on my driveway and walkway in Petaluma. Shawn was there every day checking on things and it turned out beautifully. The neighbors were all asking who did our driveway it looked so nice!He really cares about the work his company does. He explained everything that would need to be done upfront and quoted a very reasonable price. The guys on the crew were great. One of them found a child's plastic action figure under the old walkway they had to tear out and he placed it next to the front door where I would find it in case it might have sentimental value or something. Above and beyond the call of duty and just a really nice thing to do! I highly recommend this company.
